Rebecca Albright for Palmer Lake

I am honored and excited to be running for the Palmer Lake Board of Trustees. I have lived in this beautiful town with my husband, Philip Tedeschi, for 33 years. We raised three children here, from Palmer Lake preschool to Palmer Ridge High School. This is truly home for us.

Professionally, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have served the Tri-Lakes community as a psychotherapist and small business owner in Monument for 28 years.

I love sitting on my deck on quiet mornings, running, hiking and biking our amazing trail systems and hanging out with friends and family in our backyard and our local establishments. I look forward to the opportunity to serve Palmer Lake.

WE are Palmer Lake!

  • Natural beauty with many opportunities to enjoy it

  • The best holiday traditions around

  • Creative, innovative small businesses

  • Fun and funny community events and fundraisers

Who we are:

As Citizens Palmer Lake, we value and participate in all of the above - we greet each other warmly on the trails, we gather and linger in the local establishments, we dig neighbors and strangers out of the snow, we inform each other when bear or mountain lions are passing through, we honor burn bans, water restrictions and begrudgingly leave our dogs at home when hiking to the reservoirs. We are generally pretty good folks.

I am committed to building on this foundation of civility and working with our community to move forward with authenticity, collaboration and effectiveness:

  • We can retain Town Staff and volunteers.

  • We can make smart decisions on protecting our natural resources such as wildlife and water.

  • We can support and encourage small business development.

  • We can sustain public safety departments.

  • We can make hard decisions that strengthen our community.

I would love to hear from you about what you hope for in your Palmer Lake Trustees. I will be holding various meet and greets in the next few weeks, so please let me know if you’d like to attend, or if you’d like to connect another time.
